PIL filed in SC to allow homoeopathic treatment for mild cases of COVID-19.

A writ petition in the nature of Public Interest Litigation is filed before the Honorable Supreme Court of India to direct the Central Government to allow homoeopathic treatment of mild cases of COVID-19 with homoeopathic medicines stand-alone and as an add-on therapy in severe to critical cases with their consent.
The petitioners are homeopathic doctors Dr. Ravi M Nair from Tiruvunatapuram , Kerala and Dr. Asok Kumar Das from Kolkata. Further the petition prays to direct the Ministry of Ayush to include addition to the present immune booster dose of Arsenicum album 30, medicines in the series of Arsenicum album – Phosphorous-Tuberculinum to the public as more strong and long term immune booster to fight against COVID -19.
Another prayer is to direct the Central Govt. to take necessary measures to prepare a medicine (nosode) from SARS COV-2, the causative virus of COVID -19 following homoeopathic method having the potentiality of being used in the curative and preventive treatment of COVID -19 and other clinical purposes following homoeopathic principles.
The writ petition filed by Advocate Suvidutt M S seeks the Supreme Court to give orders to cooperate research studies in finding medicines to fight against COVID- 19 both for curative treatment and prevention.
